Briar is CHIC OFA Excellent Hips, elbows normal and BAER. Dublin is CHIC OFA Hips Good, Elbows, thyroid and BAER Normal. Brooke is CHIC OFA Hips Good, Elbows and BAER Normal. Tara is CHIC OFA Hips Good, Elbows and BAER Normal.Carly is CHIC OFA Good Hips, Elbows normal and BAER. Hammer is CHIC OFA GOOD Hips, Elbows Normal and BAER normal. All 10 pups were BAER normal! and 6 out of the 10 were OFA'd all 6 are OFA CHIC'd ...... GOOD to EXCELLENT! Which makes it SEVEN generations of OFA hips Good to Excellent. 2010 SHOW HIGHLIGHTS BRIAR GOES BEST IN SPECIALTY AT THE NEW ENGLAND SPECIALTY. He is now BISS CH Sweetbriar's Lord of the Dance. BRIAR also was awarded select dog at the Friday New England Specialty. Later in the summer, Briar was Select dog at the Buckeye English Setter Club Specialty. BROOKE was SPECIALTY WINNERS BITCH at the Brandywine English Setter Club Specialty. She is now "CH Sweetbriar's Diamond Girl". Brooke was also Select Bitch at the Buckeye English Setter Club Specialty, Reserve Winners Bitch and Best Bred by Exhibitor at the Hudson English Setter Club Spring Specialty, Best Bred by Exhibitor at the National Capital Enghlish Setter Club Specialty. DUBLIN Was SPECIALTY WINNERS DOG AND BEST OF WINNERS at the New England Specialty for a 5 point major. Then later in the fall, he was Winners Dog at the Big Apple Sporting Dog Specialty for his second major win. DUBLIN had a great showing at ESAA NATIONALS, placing 4th in the Open Dog and 3rd in the Maturity, all owner handled. He was also SPECIALTY RESERVE WINNERS DOG at the Hudson Specialty over Westminster Weekend, Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the New Brunswick Kennel Club show in Edison NJ, Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the Greater Philadelphia Dog Fanciers Club show in Wrightstown PA, Winners Dog and Best of Winners at Sussex Hills Kennel Club in Morristown, NJ and was Best of Breed over specials, winners dog, best of winners at the Twin Brooks Kennel Club show in Morristown, NJ. JACK sired by Travis finishes his AKC Championship and is now "CH Northwinds Just Jack". QUINCY sired by TRAViS was SPECIALTY Winners Dog and BOS at the Hudson Specialty, and finished his championship later in the year - he is now "CH Northwinds Bring it on". |

November - BRIAR finishes his AKC Championship Title winning his 4th major!
October - BROOKE is Best of Opposite in Sweeps at the New England Specialty. Travis x Tess puppies whelped.
September - BRIAR is Best in Sweeps at the Brandywine Specialty. BROOKE wins her first major going Winners bitch at the Berks KC day-after Specialty show. BRIAR is Winners dog and best of opposite at Warrenton KC for his third major.
August - BRIAR is winners dog for his third major at the Harrisburg Kennel Club show on Saturday. HAMMER was (major) reserve winners dog on both Saturday and Sunday, and BROOKE was (major) reserve winners bitch both days.
July - Hammer is winners dog for a major at the Brandywine Supported Entry on Saturday. Tara takes a major reserve. Briar takes a major reserve at the Sunday Nita Nee Show.

June - At the English Setter Club of New England Specialty BROOKE is Reserve Winners Bitch and Best Puppy!
May - BRIAR is Best Puppy and Reserve Winners Dog and DUBLIN wins Best in Sweepstakes at the Hudson English Setter club Spring Specialty. BROOKE and HAMMER both take major reserves at Plainfield KC in NJ.
April - BRIAR takes a Major Reserve at the National Capitol English Setter Club Supported Entry. HAMMER Wins his class at the National Capitol English Setter Club Spring Specialty
BRIAR goes Winners Dog and Best of Opposite over top-ranked specials at Harrisburg for a Day-After-Specialty 4 PT Major. DUBLIN wins both Sweeps and Regular classes at the Brandywine Specialty.
February 2008 - Our 7 month old puppies had a great showing at the Garden Specialty Shows. Three blue ribbons and too many placements to count.

2007 SWEETBRIAR NEWS
We whelped our first litter in over over four years: Ten beautiful puppies sired by Travis and out of our lovely Kayla.
Both Travis and Adam sired beautiful litters in 2007.
