Our Latest News Follow Dublin on Facebook See Dublin and Molly STAR on Animal Planet's "Dogs 101" feature on English Setters: 2011 News * During spring Hunt Test season Dublin picks up his first two passes towards his JH title, handled by Frank Luksa. UPDATE: 10-1-2011 Dublin earns his 3rd JH pass handled by his mom! Dublin is running big and bold, has an extremely solid point and can really find those birds. We are REALLY happy with his field work. * With very few shows as a special under his belt, Dublin is already close to earning his AKC Grand Championship Title and has several Best of Breed awards. * At the New Brunswick Kennel Club show in Edison, NJ on March 26th, Dublin was Winners Dog / Best of Winners to finish his championship under Judge Mary Ellen Macke. He is now CH SWEETBRIARS UNFORGETTABLE FIRE * Dublin started 2011 STRONG with two specialty/supported entry Major reserves including at the Meadowlands). 2010 - What a great year for Dublin and Molly! October- We headed out to English Setter nationals where Dublin Dublin placed 4th in the competitive Open Dog class and Third in the Maturity. The week before Nationals, Dublin was Winners Dog at the Hatboro Kennel Club show in Wrightstown PA. My precious Molly was not to be ignored - she won the Veterans Sweepstakes at the prestigious Morris and Essex Kennel Club show. September - Dublin is Winners Dog at the Big Apple Sporting Dog Specialty show in North Branch, NJ for his SECOND MAJOR! Dublin followed this up with a Major Reserve (to his half brother and specialty winner Quincy) at Berks Kennel Club. August - Dublin is Winners Dog and Best of Winners at Sussex Hills Kennel Club in Morristown, NJ. July - Dublin is BEST OF BREED over specials, Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the Twin Brooks Kennel Club show in Morristown, NJ. June - Dublin is SPECIALTY WINNERS DOG and BEST OF WINNERS at the English Setter Club of New England Specialty for a 5 point major under breeder judge Dr. B.J. Parsons. Dubin is Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the Greater Philadelphia Dog Fanciers Club March - Dublin is Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the New Brunswick Kennel Club February - Dublin is RESERVE WINNERS DOG AT THE HUDSON SPECIALTY OVER WESTMINSTER WEEKEND AT THE GARDEN SPECIALTY. MOLLY - Five Oakes Weymouth Daydream, my veteran gal and my go-everywhere Gal-Pal. Molly loves to go to shows. She tought me so much about showing, and is a major short of finishing her AKC Championship. RINGO - DeCoverly's Ring O'Fire JH, At the Bridge . .. Ringo was my first setter, a Ryman type setter. We enjoyed hunting and competing in Senior Level AKC Hunting events. I miss Ringo every day, and am so happy to have Dublin, his cousin (same grand-sire, "JJ") |
